Public art for Beaufort Street! by John Carey
The Beaufort Street Network is a not-for-profit community organisation for people who love Perth’s most unique cafe and retail strips- Beaufort Street in Mt Lawley/Highgate.
The network is working on a project to add more public art to the street to encourage interesting and vibrant spaces in which pedestrians can engage and interact with. The piece chosen is ‘Clytie’, a work by Sandy Bliim. ‘Clytie’ is a 2.5m high doll’s head which is made of welded steel and finished in instant rust paint.
Wouldn’t you like to stumble across this giant head on your morning walk?
